Vitamins and minerals, such as there are iron and folic acid, are also important in pregnancy dietary plan as they help into giving the mother more energy as well as allowing the baby to develop healthy and properly. In case a pregnant woman can not get enough from the food she eats, then the doctor will prescribe her supplements that need to be added to the pregnancy diet.

There are however certain foods that can not be consumed, such as the one that hasn’t been pasteurized.
