A protein shake can be a part of your breakfast, although depending on your exercise level and the times of the day you get the exercise it might not be enough.
Most people I have met have the feeling that a liquid breakfast is not a substantial meal and that can cause problems as they, during the day, feel like they have to make up for the “lack” of breakfast, and that is when they tend to overeat.

Breakfast – The Secret Of A Great Silhouette

There are clinical studies and statistics that highlighted the fact that adults and children who eat healthy in the morning have good results and higher performance compared with those who give up breakfast. These people get tired more quickly because the body and, especially, their brain functions with limited energy resources.

In addition, when you do not eat in the morning, we are very hungry before lunch and from lack of time we drink coffee or eating something sweet, to fool the hunger. Feeling of fullness will be installed only for a short period and at noon our choice will certainly be unhealthy: fast food and sweets in abundance.
