How Caroline Manzo From ‘New Jersey Housewives’ Slims Down

Caroline Manzo, the main figure of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, is flaunting a noticeably skinnier figure these days. Last season, Manzo sported a heavier build (see above left) but revealed she works out three times a week with a personal trainer who comes to her home to train her and her three adult children.

Caroline Manzo is dramatically thinner now than she was last season.

Manzo said she was horrified at how bad she looked on film: OK, the gym scene…no makeup, fat ass, ugly expressions…Kevin is an old family friend that works out with us three times a week.

I can honestly say that working out with the kids is hilarious. I think we do more laughing than anything else. Kevin keeps us all in shape and I will be forever grateful for that.

Caroline’s husband Albert reportedly underwent lap-band surgery and lost some 100 pounds. She is rumored to have had the same procedure to help her slim down.

New Jersey Housewives co-star Teresa wrote a diet book

While we’ll likely see for ourselves how Caroline got in shape on the upcoming second season of Real Housewives of Jersey, co-star Teresa Giudice has written a diet book called Skinny Italian.

In Teresa’s book (which comes out in May to coincide with the airing of the show), she reveals she stays slim by limiting processed foods and following a Mediterranean diet, which emphasizes healthy fats, fruits and vegetables.
